This series is inspired by Rene Magritte’s quote “Everything we see hides another thing, we always want to see what is hidden by what we see.” I’ve long held the belief that life has no inherent meaning, and that we each create our own.

To many, that sounds bleak. To me, it’s liberating.

This ongoing series is a meditation on contradiction: emptiness that holds meaning, and deflation that still demands attention.
